Tillie Presser ready to compete again next year

      The Junior checker Queen of the Bronx, Miss Tille Presser of 3451 Giler pl., added another victim to her list today.  When her interviewer challenged her to a game of checkers. Miss presser won in three straight games taking less than eleven minutes

      Miss Presser came witin one move of winning the all-city title, but she is not discouraged, and states that she will be right in there again next year

      Although only in completion for two years she beat all comers in the Bronx.  She says that she owes her success to the games she has played at the playground park near her home and to helpful hints given her by the playground instructor.  Mrs Maiska Fasbender of 3054 Godwin Terrace, the Bronx.

                Miss Press has won to Medal.  One this year and one last year.  Unfortunate., last year, after winning in the first two parks she was unable to be at the third park for the contest and her substitute lost for her. She does not feel so bad about her defeat in the finals as she has lost to learn about the game. she says and intends to win the championship next year
